Fully Funded PhD Scholarship in Computer Engineering in New Zealand, 2017

The University of Auckland has organized Fully Funded PhD Scholarship in Computer Engineering. The scholarship is available for the students of New Zealand.

The aim of the scholarship is to assist students and give them research opportunities.

The University of Auckland is the largest university in New Zealand, located in the country’s largest city, Auckland. It is the highest-ranked university in the country, being ranked 81st worldwide in the 2016/17 QS World University Rankings.

Course Level: The scholarship is available to pursue PhD programme.

Study Subject: The scholarship is awarded in the field of Computer Engineering.

Scholarship Award: The scholarship will cover the following;

  • The student will be paid a stipend of 27,000 NZD per annum + fees + conference travel.

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Candidate must hold an undergraduate degree in Electrical, Computer, or Biomedical Engineering. Experience in at least two or more of these topics is essential: mathematical modelling, formal methods, signal processing, machine learning. Good programming experience and interest in biophysics is essential. Experience with design environments such as MATLAB, OpenModelica, VHDL, scikit-learn, would be beneficial for the project.

Nationality: New Zealand applicants are eligible for the scholarship.
